The Festival of Remembrance – Horizon CC

We are delighted to be able to be performing at the Royal British Legions’ annual Remembrance Service at Horizon CC on Thursday 9 November 2017. We are especially honoured to be performing with Barnsley Youth Choir’s Intermediate and Senior Choirs and to be singing The Armed Man pieces together. I am sure you will agree this is an absolute treat!  Please ensure that you make a note of the following:

• Please arrive by no later than 5.30pm and proceed to the Y10 block for warm up prior to the performance.
• Dress code – Barnsley Singers rehearsal t-shirts, black trousers (no jeans or leggings), black shoes. Ladies – no skirts please. Poppies will be available for everyone at Horizon CC.
• Please note that if you arrive later than 6pm you will not be able to take part in the performance, regrettably timings are very strict and we have to adhere to these for the performance to begin on time.
• Please note there will be no parking available due to the extremely high number of people expected at Horizon on the day. Please park at the bottom car park on Shaw Lane and make your way up to the college from here.
• The performance starts at 6.30pm prompt and is expected to last 20 – 30 minutes. All family members are welcome to attend and watch the performance and it is free entry.
